Webmail

WebMail is a web-based application that allows access to your email.hctc.net mailbox using a standard web browser. It can be used as the sole method of accessing your e-mail, or in conjunction with another desktop e-mail program such as Outlook or Eudora.

The recommended browsers for accessing WebMail are Internet Explorer version 7.0 (Macintosh version 5.1.7) or above, as well as the Mozilla and Firefox browsers. WebMail has buttons which allow you to check, compose, search, delete, purge, forward, print and reply to e-mail messages from anywhere in the world.

You can create and manage mailboxes (folders) and make entries into an address book (or import addresses from an existing one). You can also customize your account and appearance preferences.

The WebMail program has already been configured. Therefore, you do not need to create or change any settings, as is required with other e-mail programs.
